| We understand that whatever happens in the judicial system will not bring Anthony back, ofcourse we wish there was a way. We wish he had never left, we wish he was never taken from us. But if there is any way we can bring light to this darkness, it is to prevent this from happening again. So we will do whatever we can possibly do to make sure that the individuals responsible for the murder are convicted and punished to the fullest extent of the law. This is not revenge, this is justice. Or is there no justice, is there only love?
The judicial system is long and drawn out. Due to a witness finally coming forward to testify, after over a year the LAPD detectives were finally able to arrest one of the suspects on December 5th, 2001. So far there have been many delays and pretrial motions, but the jury selection is due to start on August 7th, 2003. With the jury trial beginning hopefully two days after. Please attend the jury trial if at all possible, the support will be greatly appreciated. Believe me we're working on it. There will be more information as the trial progresses as to what exactly happened November 3rd, 2000.
